I did not begin as a lifelong athlete.
In my early 30s, I was overweight, inconsistent, and uncertain. I struggled to walk several blocks without stopping. Through structured training, disciplined habits, and steady progression, I rebuilt my health and eventually completed multiple Ironman races.
That transformation did not happen because of talent.
It happened because of process.
The same structured progression that rebuilt my own health now guides the athletes I coach.
Experience matters — not as inspiration, but as perspective. I understand what it means to start from scratch. I understand how progress feels when it is earned.
And I understand how easily athletes burn out when structure is missing.
