Custom Training Plans

Structured, purpose-built plans designed around your event and lifestyle.

Sometimes you want a tailored road map for training — without entering an ongoing coaching relationship. Tabula Rasa Racing custom training plans give you a fully personalized training structure to follow for the weeks leading up to your goal event.  


All plans are crafted from an in-depth consultation so they reflect your experience level, available training time, and real-life demands.  Custom plans are built with the same philosophy as our 1:1 coaching.  Plans are delivered via TrainingPeaks and supported by access to the Locker Room — your athlete-only content hub. 

Step 1: Choose Your Plan Format

Individual Plan

A fully customized training plan designed specifically for you.


Your plan is built from consultation and tailored to your goals, background, and weekly schedule.


Best for athletes who want a plan designed uniquely around their life and who want personalized structure without entering a full coaching relationship. 


 

Group Plan (Limited to 5 Athletes)

A structured training plan shared among a small group of athletes training toward the same event distance.


Group plans follow a shared progression and are not individualized to personal schedule adjustments. Group size is capped at five athletes to maintain quality and accountability. 


Best for athletes who want structure and community at a lower price point.  

Step 2: Choose Your Support Level

Each plan format (Individual or Group) is available in two levels of support.

Base Plan

  • A complete custom training plan 
  • Basic TrainingPeaks account included 
  • Access to the Locker Room for supplemental content

 


Plan Plus

Includes everything in Base, plus:

  • Weekly training feedback
  • Unlimited athlete-initiated communication with Coach Justin 
  • Post-race debrief consultation and performance discussion

 

Plan Plus provides structured oversight and feedback without full 1:1 coaching. 


Considering 1:1 coaching?
If you transition into Custom 1:1 Coaching within 30 days of completing a Plan Plus cycle, your final week of Plan Plus will be credited toward your first coaching month. 

Available Plan Categories

Plans are available in:


  • Running: Up to Half Marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km)
     
  • Cycling: Up to Metric Century (62 miles / 100 km)
     
  • Swimming: Up to 3.9 km (2.4 miles)
     
  • Triathlon: Up to Olympic Distance
     
  • Hiking & Expedition: Up to 32.2 km (20 miles)

Return to Sport (RTS)

Designed for structured re-entry before progressing into standard training or full coaching. This offering is designed for athletes returning after injury, extended time away, or major life transition.


RTS provides intentional workload progression and guided oversight during the rebuilding phase — without entering a full 1:1 coaching relationship.

How the Plan is Built

Your plan is not a template. It is created specifically for you based on:

  • Training history and experience
     
  • Event timing and distance goal
     
  • Lifestyle constraints and recovery capacity
     
  • Recent performance and injury history

 

Plans are built using the same structured methodology applied across all coaching relationships. This meticulous approach ensures the plan fits you, not the other way around.
