Weight Loss and Endurance Athletes

Endurance athletes are under the impression losing weight will allow them to be faster and thus a better athlete. So in the pursuit to lose weight, they often find their performance suffering rather than improving. This video asks the questions: what is your "why" for losing weight, how can cutting calories actually cause me to gain weight, how important is strength training during the pursuit of weight loss, how to time consumption in order to fuel training and recovery.
